ELIGIBILITY
[ ] Exact address and local body recorded
[ ] Applicant owns the house and is a Kerala resident
[ ] Owner and family physically reside at the unit
[ ] Any spouse Power of Attorney route confirmed under the 2026 order
[ ] Property is operational, not proposed or under construction
[ ] Property is not leased or rented for the Homestay route
[ ] 1–6 guest rooms and 2–12 beds
[ ] Silver, Gold or Diamond grade selected
[ ] Every Necessary checklist item completed
[ ] Separate Serviced Villa route considered if Homestay does not fit

DOCUMENTS
[ ] ₹200 stamp-paper Acceptance of Regulatory Conditions
[ ] Residence Certificate
[ ] Building Ownership Certificate
[ ] Up-to-date land-tax receipt
[ ] Applicant police-clearance certificate from local SHO
[ ] Correct current FSSAI registration or licence
[ ] Existing plan and elevation
[ ] Two exterior and two interior photographs
[ ] Building, fire, CRZ and local-body position checked separately
[ ] Current portal fee confirmed and receipt retained

OPERATIONS AND RECLASSIFICATION
[ ] Classification certificate displayed
[ ] Bill book and occupancy register ready
[ ] Feedback and complaint/action registers ready
[ ] Tariff information placed in each room
[ ] Food service and kitchen compliance maintained
[ ] Foreign-guest Form III reporting ready
[ ] Facility or service changes reported within 30 days
[ ] Three-year expiry date diarised
[ ] Reclassification filed three months before expiry
[ ] ₹3,000 Government Order versus ₹3,750 webpage fee mismatch noted
